Sticky Exhibits is a voluntary not-for-profit organisation based in Chester, England, UK, specialising in creative resources and exhibits to engage people with environmental issues and support education for sustainable development.

We are working to establish a UK wide library of creative environmental exhibits and  promotional equipment and to make this available on a not-for-profit basis to those who promote sustainable lifestyles and education for sustainable development (ESD) or simply seek to engage people via creative means. 

We started in June 2005 as a voluntary prtoject when we developed our first collection of environmental exhibits - mainly about renewable energy - road testing them at various environmental events, green events and general events mostly in Northwest England. The initial pilot phase was supported thanks to a grant from UnLtd the foundation for social entrepreneurs. In 2006 we began work on our second collection of environmental exhibits - collectively forming an art installation the 'Earth Arcade' - and tested these exhibits at various events during 2007. In 2008 Sticky Exhibits became Sticky Exhibits Community Interest Company a not for profit company limited by guarantee (Company No. 6512455). The move to becoming a Community Interest Company gives the project a legal form that confirms our status as a not for profit organisation. It thus enables us to access further potential sources of funding. We still rely upon volunteers and donations!
